By accessing or using the Accreditly website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Use of Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Service by any third party. You also agree not to access or attempt to access any part of the Service that you are not authorized to access, or to interfere with or disrupt the Service or any servers or networks connected to the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Accreditly and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Links to Other Websites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Accreditly. Accreditly has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that Accreditly shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.
Termination
Accreditly may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranty for information, services, uninterrupted access, or products provided through or in connection with the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Accreditly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Accreditly be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including without limitation damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, even if Accreditly has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Affiliation with Technology Partners
Our certifications are unofficial and not affiliated with the technology vendors. Our service is designed to help developers and agencies show their proficiency in certain technologies by answering various questions about certain technologies. The creators of those technologies are not involved in our service, and some may even have their own official certifications available.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Accreditly is located, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Refunds
Generally speaking refunds are not available. Once you have decided to move ahead with an accreditation and pay for it then you are not eligible for a refund, even if you are not able to pass the exam. If you are unhappy with the service for any reason you can contact us, and we'll review your issue.
For transparency, we have a no refund policy simply because the most common refund request we receive is because people find the exams too difficult. Giving a refund to anyone who is unable to pass the exam would undermine the premise of the service, so it's generally not something we do. If you have another issue we are happy to have a chat about your circumstances.
Changes to Terms of Use
Accreditly may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. We encourage you to review these Terms of Use periodically to stay informed about any changes.
